IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)

Morgan Park has been authorized to offer the IB Middle Years Programme since 1999. Schools that offer IB MYP share a common philosophy, a commitment to an academic framework that encourages students to draw connections between traditional school subjects and the real world while promoting critical and reflective thinking.

 

Morgan Park High School is a “wall-to-wall” IB MYP school, and all 9th and 10th grade students experience the rigor of IB MYP and take IB MYP courses. 10th graders complete a culminating Personal Project, and all students who complete the MYP are eligible for selection into the IB Diploma Programme or IB Career-related Programme.
