Mustangs Visit Shakespeare Theatre, Meet Legendary Actor

Teachers Mr. Le, Mr. Gronholm, administrator AP Askew, and 22 Morgan Park High School students attended the Chicago Shakespeare Theater recently for a night with legendary actor Sir Ian McKellan. McKellan performed scenes from some of his most iconic roles including Gandalf, Hamlet, and BOTH Romeo and Juliet. McKellan also welcomed students Nandi Guy and Kayla Friday on stage to perform a scene with him, during which they each gave a performance and had an experience of a lifetime.

MP Theatre group to perform, "It Happened on Route 66."

The MP Theatre group is going to perform, "It Happened on Route 66" on April 25, with an MP student preview on April 24. Ticket price: $10 is the suggested donation. The show is starring Diamond Fields, Aniya McNeal, Kayla Thomas, and Malachi McFadden, and is directed by Mr. Youngblood.
