SY25-26 GoCPS Registration

Registration for School Year 2024-2025:
Registration for SY 2024-2025 closes on Thursday, 3/20/2025.  This is the last day of Quarter 3.  Morgan Park is currently admitting neighborhood students only for Grades 9-11.  


Registration for School Year 2025-2026: 

Incoming 9th-Grade Students for SY 2025-2026

  • GoCPS offers are released by Chicago Public Schools on Friday, March 14th, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Incoming 9th Grade Families have until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4th to make a selection through GoCPS.
  • Neighborhood families intending to enroll at Morgan Park High School for Grade 9 should accept their neighborhood seat in GoCPS by Friday, April 4th at 5:00 p.m.
  • There will be an incoming 9th Grade Family Night for students/families with a GoCPS acceptance (International Baccalaureate Program, Neighborhood Enrollment, Cluster Program enrollment) on Thursday, 4/10 at 5:30 p.m.  Any student/family with a GoCPS acceptance who is intending to enroll at Morgan Park for SY 2025-2026 is strongly encouraged to attend.
    • The registration process for SY 2025-2026 will be outlined on 4/10.  
  • The registration process for incoming 9th grade families will begin the Week of 4/14.  More information will be provided on this process on 4/10.  

Incoming Academic Center (7th + 8th Grade) Students for SY 2025-2026:

    • GoCPS offers are released by Chicago Public Schools on Friday, April 11th, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
    • Incoming Academic Center families have until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2nd to make a selection through GoCPS.
  • Any student enrolling in Morgan Park’s Academic Center must have an acceptance through GoCPS per CPS Policy.
  • There will be an incoming Academic Center Family Night for students/families with a GoCPS acceptance to Morgan Park’s Academic Center on Thursday, 4/24 at 5:30 p.m.  Any student/family with a GoCPS offer who is considering enrollment in Morgan Park’s Academic Center for SY 2025-2026 is strongly encouraged to attend.
    • The Registration Process for SY 2025-2026 will be outlined on 4/24.  
  • The registration process for incoming Academic Center families will begin on the Week of 5/5.  More information will be provided on this process on 4/24.  

Incoming 10th - 12th Grade Transfer Applicants for SY 2025-2026:

  • Any 10th-12th grade transfer applicant for SY 2025-2026 must either:
    • Prove full-time residency within Morgan Park’s attendance area, or
    • Possess a 3.25+ cumulative GPA, 85% attendance, and no Level 3-6 CPS Code of Conduct Infractions for consideration.
    • Information for 10th - 12th transfer applicants for SY 2025-2026 will be posted to the website by 6/1.
