Morgan Park Senior Earns Prestigious Posse Scholarship to UW–Madison

Morgan Park senior Alexander Marchan has been awarded the prestigious four-year, full Posse Scholarship to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The Posse Scholarship is a highly selective, merit-based award that provides full tuition and leadership development support to outstanding students, recognizing both academic excellence and strong leadership potential. Alex is the first Morgan Park student to earn a Posse Scholarship since 2021. Congratulations to Alex and his family—Go Mustangs!

Morgan Park Students Earn Second Place at Regional IT Team-Based Challenge

Morgan Park students participated in an industry-aligned Information Technology Team-Based Challenge at Wilbur Wright College, designing app and website solutions focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with one team earning second place among 18 competitors.

Mustangs are Public League Champions!

The Mighty Mustangs, led by head coach Chris James, won the Chicago Public League title after defeating the Kenwood Broncos, 30-19, earning them their first CPL football championship since 2007. The Mustangs are 31-2 vs. CPS teams in the last four years.
